Euro-2012: Poznan decided on stadium reconstruction
 Syndicate of 6 companies won bids for stadium reconstruction in Poznan, one of four major Polish host-cities of Europe Football Championship matches 2012.
 Syndicate headed by Polish Company of Hydrobudowa Polska SA gained the contract. The syndicate proposed the lowest cost for reconstruction among all the bids participants, which made 490 mln zlotys (around $ 170 mln).
The winner syndicate also comprises such companies in Poznan as PBG SA and AK-BUD Kurant, Alpine Construction Polska in Krakow, German Alpine Bau Deutschland and Austrian Alpine Bau GMBH.
Construction works will start in January, 2009 and the stadium is planned to be set in operation in August, 2010.
After its modernization stadium in Poznan will be able to seat 46.000 fans.
Earlier it was informed that in Polish city of Gdansk was started stadium construction for holding Europe Football Championship matches 2012.
