Looking for investors to install web-cameras in Olimpiyskiy NSC

Minister of family, youth and sports Yury Pavlenko says that the Ministry’s been looking for investors to install web-cameras in Olimpiyskiy NSC in Kiev.

The delay in their installation is caused by the lack of the approved project. To install web-cameras one needs $ 50.000.

Mr. Pavlenko has addressed to organizations which might get interested in the offer to install web-cameras in the stadium and obtain from the reconstructed sports arena exclusive broadcasting rights.

“We couldn’t afford allocating finances from Olimpiyskiy NSC reconstruction fund for web-cameras’ installation. We addressed to providers who are interested to install cameras for free for publicity purposes. And we’re open to carry it out even tomorrow, but not from the state budget, though”, - says the Minister.

Installation of LED lamps providing illumination of a glass facade has begun at Donbass Arena.

After the lamps are installed, façade’s major part will be illuminated with dark blue lights, while roof top perimeter will be white, producing soaring cover effect. Installation of ten thousand of LED lamps is carried out inside the facade.

But the main feature of spot illumination in Donbass Arena’s façade is its energy efficiency. Illumination will consume only 50-60 watt per hour. According to experts it’s not much, whereas traditional phosphor or metal-halide lamps would consume in this case hundreds of watt per hour.
