Coordinating office for Euro-2012 now has its manager
Coordinating office for organization and hosting Europe Football Championship Final 2012 is headed by Ilya Shevlyak, dismissed today from the post of senior deputy Minister for Family, Youth and Sport by decision of the Government and appointed as deputy Minister for the Cabinet of Ministers.
“Coordinating office staff will make up 50 employees and will be formed only within the framework of existing overall personnel quantity for the Cabinet of Ministers Secretariat” - told vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Ivan Vasyunik.
“Today the decision of Cabinet of Ministers confirmed 17 national coordinators for transport infrastructure affairs and in particular airports, roads, sports and hotel infrastructure” - he added.
“Idea of creating Coordinating office under the Cabinet of Ministers Secretariat was generated by the reason to have the structure depending least of all from the politics. It isn’t influenced by the changes in the Government or any political situation. I’d like to highlight there wasn’t’ any other subjective reasons for winding up National Agency for Euro-2012 organization” - noted Mr. Vasyunik.
