Group D
France 1-1 Bosnia and Herzegovina
This round of the EURO 2012 qualifying just helped to determine who will be paired for duels in playoff games. For example, in the group D, France and Bosnia and Herzegovina tried to have out the winner and the runner-up! On the one hand, even if you lost, you still in playoff. But on the other hand, everyone understood that EURO 2012 is so close. Thus, neither status nor the place did play any roles.
So Bosnia thought in the way and from the very first minute of the match took the initiative and kept France to the goals down. Then France did the same thing, they exchanged several counterattacks, sharp moment and kicks.
The most active among other was Edin Džeko and he struck the first goal! In the 40 minute he was fast in free-kick and Džeko took the ball and curled the shot on some mysterious trajectory inside far post from 20 meters.
After the break, guests began to defend and tried to secure their result. For the first minutes they coped with this task! Despite the locals attempted hard but didn’t manage to score the goal. Till the 78 minute.
Samir Nasri reached the pass near the Bosnia goal line, puzzled defense and then as a very experienced footballer felt right in the penalty area. Therefore, he, Nasri, scored the first goal for his team in the match and so drew.
The remaining time the French just held the draws and the first place in the group.

Sweden 3-2 Netherlands
Sweden in the match with Netherlands struggled for the “first-and-half” place – the best runner-up that has the right to qualify for EURO 2012 without playoff. The Sweden victory made Sweden the best among other runners-up. So from the first moments of the match locals forge victory. Unlike guests that wanted only to receive the moral and psychological pleasure.
In the 14 minute Kim Källström opened the scoring after the free-kick inside near post. But in the 23 minute Klaas-Jan Huntelaar leveled it. He scored his goal by head sending the ball inside far post. The goalkeeper was powerless.
Five minute after the break, the local showed their character and put themselves ahead! It was van Persi who took the ball and kicked inside goal but the goalkeeper stopped it. Dirk Kuyt was the first to shot again. This attempt was successful.
The Swede felt the playoffs and began to correct the situation. In the 52 minute Joris Mathijsen, the Netherlands defense hand in the ball. The referee was fair and showed the penalty spot. Sebastian Larsson was exact and equaled the score.
Less than in a minute, the locals put their team ahead! Johan Elmander stormed into the penalty area from the left flank, distract the defenses, goalkeeper and tried to shot. The defenses blocked it, but the Toivonen possessed the ball and he was exact.

Greece and Croatia, group F leaders won that’s why the situation didn’t change: Greece is the winner and Croatia is runner up.
Groups D, E, F results
France, Netherlands, Sweden, Greece qualified for EURO 2012. Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia will be paired for playoff games.
